WARNING: Advertising Blackout Dates Approaching

October 25, 2022

You’ve heard the rumblings, maybe even seen a post or two of ours on the topic. Still, the ad restriction period for Facebook and Instagram is only one week away. Are you prepared?

We know no one wants to delve through the cans and cannots, so we did the reading and created a graphic guide to help make the rules clear.

Time is short, but you can still get yourself advertising before the deadline. Be wary of your time, and contact us if you need help. Some things to consider in these final days before the blackout:

  • It takes approximately 24 hours to get a new disclaimer approved if you don’t already have an active one.
  • Double-check that your lists and custom audiences are populated and created.
  • An ad going through the review process can take up to 72 hours, so aim to have things in review by October 28th.

Once we get past that November 1st deadline at 12:01 AM PT, you will be locked into your creative and copy. We can help ensure you’re ready to go and reach those who matter. Reach out to us TODAY!

We craft strategies to help you win.

At Ascent Strategic, we devise winning strategies for candidates and political organizations. We'd love to see what we can help you achieve.

The Stuff No One Tells You About Hiring Your Campaign Staff

By Derek Dufresne (Partner) If there’s one thing I’ve learned after enough campaign cycles to measure my life in yard signs, it’s this: your team will make or break you long before voters do. Candidates obsess over messaging, polling, yard signs, and TV ads— but the...

What Voters See Before They Hear You
