Ascent Strategic hibernation is fast approaching…

December 16, 2022

Apparently, bears hibernate in winter due to freezing temperatures and the scarcity of food.

Here at Ascent, we hibernate as well, but for somewhat different reasons. Some of our experts call it “the need for sanity.” Some explain it as, “I can’t believe the 2024 election cycle has already started… MAKE IT STOP.” Others are just longing for some much-deserved downtime.

Whatever the reason, rest assured we will not be taking the whole winter off (to some people’s dismay). We will, however, be taking a long winter nap starting on December 23rd and continuing through January 2nd. If there’s an emergency and you need to wake up the Ascent bears, please enter the cave cautiously, and preferably with some food. Or, for your own safety, email us at info@ascent-strategic.com.

We craft strategies to help you win.

At Ascent Strategic, we devise winning strategies for candidates and political organizations. We'd love to see what we can help you achieve.

By Derek Dufresne (Partner) If there’s one thing I’ve learned after enough campaign cycles to measure my life in yard signs, it’s this: your team will make or break you long before voters do. Candidates obsess over messaging, polling, yard signs, and TV ads— but the...

What Voters See Before They Hear You

By Amanda Biundo (VP of Creative & Marketing) Before a voter reads a word or listens to a sentence, they have already formed a judgment. It happens in the blink of an eye, and research shows people form first impressions in as little as 50 milliseconds. That...
