June 29, 2022

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Ascent Strategic is pleased to announce the hire of Wes Farno. Farno will serve as a Senior Consultant and Director of Amplify Public Affairs, Ascent Strategic’s public affairs firm.

Andrew Boucher, an Ascent Strategic Partner, said:

“We are thrilled to have Wes join our team. Over the last few years, we’ve worked with Wes on a number of projects in Ohio and have been greatly impressed with his work ethic and commitment to clients. We look forward to working with Wes and seeing Amplify Public Affairs grow under his leadership.”

Regarding his new position, Wes Farno stated:

“In my 15 years of issue advocacy experience, I have come to learn that the best in the business come from the political campaign world. The ability to be nimble, to think outside the box, and to react quickly to changing circumstances is vital to success in this arena. In my time working with Ascent over the last few years on various campaigns, I’ve seen first-hand that they possess all of these qualities, and I am excited to lead the public affairs team for them. When you combine decades of campaign experience with decades of issue advocacy experience, you have a winning combination for our clients on both sides.”
