Derek Dufresne

Derek Dufresne is a New Hampshire native living in Washington, D.C., with a proven track record of winning races nationwide. He has led numerous successful multi-million dollar candidate and issue advocacy efforts, bringing strategic vision and hands-on experience to some of the most competitive campaigns in the country.

Derek currently serves as Chief Strategist and General Consultant to Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL-03), the immediate past NRCC Recruitment Chair, and her leadership PAC, American GRIT PAC. He also advises the Republican Women’s Fund, co-chaired by Congresswoman Cammack and Senator Katie Britt.

Before co-founding his firm, Derek served on Capitol Hill as both a legislative assistant and communications director for a top-tier seat in the House of Representatives. His background also includes extensive experience in municipal government.

Recognized for his leadership in the conservative movement, Derek was named a Maverick PAC “Future 40” honoree in 2023 and one of Business Insider’s “24 Millennial and Gen Z Republican Operatives to Watch” ahead of the 2022 elections. His work has also earned him recognition and national board appointments from the Young Republican National Federation, the Manchester Republican City Committee, and the Log Cabin Republicans.
